Born 1945, Birmingham, Michigan

Isabel Brown graduated with honors from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1967. After a year in Rome and Italy, where Isabel concentrated on printmaking at the 2RC, she returned to the States where she worked in the art department at Vogue Magazine in New York.

Isabel Brown has illustrated two books: "Bungling Pedro and Other Majorcan Tales," text by Alexander Mehdevi (Knopf, 1970), and "The Magic Hill," a children's story by A.A. Milne (Dutton, 2000).
